I was reading Dave Furguson's blog, Velocity, and he referenced a recent article in The Chicago Tribune titled, "Jesus in China: Christianity's Rapid Rise ." It's a definite must read.Christianity, specifically evangelical Spirit-filled Christianity, is outgrowing every other major world religion. In fact, Evangelical Christianity is growing 2 times faster than Islam and 3 times faster than Buddhism and Hinduism.
A good friend of mine who is a missionary in China recently spoke at PCC. He said that there is potentially over 100 million Christians in China already, with thousands coming to faith each week.

God's Spirit is sweeping across this globe in preparation of a great end time revival. My prayer is that we here in America will not be passed by in this move of God. We must be sensitive to what the Holy Spirit is doing and also be willing to learn from other churches and commit to effectively evangelizing the lost wherever God has planted us.
