Darryl's achievements on the field were often overshadowed by his struggles off the field. This weekend he will recount the highs, the lows and the lessons of hope and survival he learned along the way.
Once a superstar for the NY Mets (the best baseball team in NY) in the 1980s, Strawberry has since faced many personal challenges, including drug use, tax evasion, solicitation, rehab, and treatment for colon cancer.
His life changed course dramatically in 2006 with his wife Tracy, when they devoted themselves to Christ and to his work. Now, in his own words, Darryl delivers his inspirational narrative.
